1. Who we are

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Per‑Scent Ltd.

2. Scope and related documents
These terms govern your use of and purchases from www.scent‑outlet.com (the “Site”), which is operated by Per‑Scent Ltd and intended for UK-based consumers only.
By using this Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. We reserve the right to cancel orders we believe are placed for resale or in breach of our terms.

Nothing in these terms limits your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3. About our products and sourcing
Scent Outlet offers 100% genuine, unused fragrance products sold at discounted prices due to minor imperfections in packaging, labelling or presentation.
Products are sourced exclusively from authorised UK distributors and trusted supply partners. All items meet applicable UK safety, labelling, and cosmetic regulations.

4. Product condition categories
Goods sold via the Site may fall into the following outlet-condition types:
Store Returns – unopened customer returns
Box Slightly Damaged – visible damage to packaging (dents, tears)
Ex-Display / Security Tagged – displayed in-store or labelled/tagged
Packaging Print Errors – box misprints or incorrect text
Unboxed – no outer retail packaging
Engraving/Label Errors – incorrect or personalised text applied
These conditions are clearly described and reflected in the pricing. They do not affect the fragrance contents. By purchasing, you accept that these characteristics do not constitute faults or misdescriptions.

5. Product imagery and description
Images on the Site are for illustrative purposes only. Colours, packaging, and presentation may differ slightly from what you receive.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure product accuracy, we cannot guarantee all descriptions, images or stock availability are error-free.

6. Pricing, payment and VAT
All prices are in GBP (£), include UK VAT, and exclude delivery (unless otherwise stated).
If the VAT rate changes between order and dispatch, we will adjust the final price unless already paid in full.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors and cancel any affected orders. Payment is taken in full at checkout using accepted methods shown on the Site.
Where applicable, use of Buy-Now-Pay-Later services (e.g. Klarna) is governed by their own terms.

7. Placing orders and contract formation
Placing an order on the Site constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract only forms when we dispatch your goods and send a dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to cancel orders before dispatch for reasons including stock unavailability, suspected resale, age-verification failure or pricing errors.

8. Changing or cancelling orders
If you request changes after placing an order, we’ll let you know if we can accommodate them and whether the price, delivery time or availability will be affected.
To cancel before dispatch, please contact Customer Services promptly. If already dispatched, see Section 10 (Statutory cancellation & returns).

9. Delivery, risk and non-delivery
Delivery options, charges, and timescales are shown at checkout. We deliver only within mainland UK.
Risk passes to you upon delivery; title passes upon receipt of full cleared payment.
If your parcel is missing or damaged on arrival, report it to us within 72 hours and retain packaging.
We may ask for photographs or a signed non-receipt form.
A parcel is deemed “lost” after 15 working days (10 for “Next-Day” services). Refunds or replacements will only be issued after this period.

10. Statutory cancellation & returns
You have 14 calendar days from delivery to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To cancel, email us or use the form in Annex 1 and return the goods within 14 days of notification.
You must cover return postage unless goods are faulty or we offered free returns.
We will refund the purchase price and the cheapest delivery method offered within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof of return).
If any free gift was included, it must be returned unused or its value may be deducted.
Fragrance items where hygiene seals or cellophane are unsealed cannot be returned unless faulty.

11. Faulty goods and legal remedies
If a product breaches statutory rights (e.g. not as described, not fit for purpose, or of unsatisfactory quality), you are entitled to:
– a full refund within 30 days;
– a repair or replacement within 6 months;
– a refund or credit if repair/replacement fails.
Packaging imperfections disclosed at purchase are not considered faults.

12. Promotions and discount codes
Only one promotional code may be used per order.
Codes are valid on full-price items only and may not be used with other offers or exchanged for cash.

13. Age-restricted goods
You must be 18+ to purchase alcohol-based fragrances or flammable products.
Delivery couriers may require age verification on delivery.

14. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You must not:
– engage in data scraping or mining;
– attempt unauthorised access;
– upload viruses, malware or harmful content;
– use the Site to bully, intimidate, spam or promote unlawful activity.
We may disable accounts that breach these rules. All Site content and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. No licence is granted beyond personal use.

15. Availability and IT security
We aim to keep the Site online but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or limit access for maintenance or emergencies.
We recommend you use up-to-date antivirus software. You are responsible for securing your own device and login credentials.

16. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any matter that cannot legally be limited.
Subject to this, our total liability is capped at 125% of the amount you paid for the goods.
We are not liable for indirect or business losses, loss of opportunity or any damage beyond the goods purchased.

17. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. extreme weather, strikes, supply shortages, force majeure).
If delivery is delayed by more than 30 days, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

18. Our right to end the contract
We may cancel an order if:
– you fail to make payment;
– you do not provide necessary delivery information;
– you do not accept delivery within a reasonable time.
We will refund any sums paid but may deduct reasonable costs incurred due to your breach.

19. Complaints and dispute resolution
We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days.
If unresolved, you may contact RetailADR (www.retailadr.org.uk) – a free, impartial resolution service.
Customers in Northern Ireland, Scotland or the EU may also use the ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

20. Data protection
We comply with the UK GDPR and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

21. Environmental and ethical claims
We work to reduce fragrance waste by repurposing high-quality products that would otherwise be discarded.
All sustainability claims are made in line with the CMA Green Claims Code and are accurate at the time of publication.

22. Transfer of rights
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another legal entity.
You may only transfer your rights with our written consent. These terms form the entire agreement between you and us.

23. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by English law.
Legal disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, or—if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland—in your local courts.
